As for mp4 performance, I'm sure it's in the pipeline somewhere, but where that is in priority over new features vs bugfixes vs workflow enhancements is up for grabs. Common recommended solution is transcode footage to DNxHD or ProRes, both of which edit much more nicely in Hitfilm. ![]() ![]() Now, Hitfilm is pretty damn slow at dealing with mp4 footage, no dobut about it. Adobe has over 12,000 employees and can surely bring more resources to bear on this sort of thing.
